Susan Whitt, PA-C
Owner / Injector
Susan is a nationally board certified and state of Ohio certified physician assistant who has been in practice since 1997. She worked as a surgical first assist for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in facial trauma and surgeries. Her surgeon taught and preempted the Ohio State University residents and fellows in these techniques, and she first assisted these surgeries as well. She worked with a level 1 trauma team at Grant Hospital before returning to study for her physician assistant degree.
She worked in the ER for several years after graduating and then joined her husband in his internal medicine practice. The practice focuses partly on skin assessments and wound care. This led to her interest in facial cosmetics. Together with two other physician assistants in the practice, who also had derm backgrounds the FaceBar came into being.
Susan is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
Susan is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, The Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants, and the National Academy of Physician Assistants.
Susan received her advanced training under Susan Weinkle, MD. She is board certified in Dermatology. She graduated from the University of Florida and Completed her residency at Stanford. She studied under the world-renowned Dr Mohs. She has been awarded the prestigious Rose Hirschler Award and the Legacy Award. She has been voted one of the countries “Best Doctors” for the past 17 years. She received the President’s award four times from three ASDS and twice from the WDS. She won the ASDS Stedman Award in 2017. She teaches and lectures all over the world.
Susan also trained under Dr. Sachin M. Shridharani, a renowned, Manhattan based board certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Luxurgery. He co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, and abstracts on topics of cosmetic and reconstructive readers surgery. He has presented his work at esteemed conferences nationally and I internationally. He developed his signature ”Surgery in a Syringe”. He has trained thousands of practitioners with his injection techniques to optimize safety and patient outcomes.
Dr. Shridharani completed his training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then went on to train at the esteemed Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital.
Lacey Erney, MPAS, NP-C
Injector / Laser Specialist
Lacey is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her nursing career began in 2009 with a background in Post Anesthesia Care, Emergency Medicine, and Orthopedics. She obtained her undergraduate degrees from Shawnee State University and The Ohio State University.
After Graduating from Ohio University with her Master's of Science in Nursing, Lacey found her true passion, aesthetic medicine. She specializes in wrinkle relaxers, dermal filler, microneedling, and broadband light therapy.
Furthering her education is important to Lacey so she is able to bring the most up to date, safest, and best treatments/techniques to her clients. She enjoys working with clients to enhance their natural beauty and overall well-being.
Sarah Hut, RN
Sarah is a board-certified Registered Nurse. She graduated from Hondros College of Nursing with her LPN and from Columbus State Community College with her RN. She is a skilled cosmetic injector and treats the migraine clinic patients. She loves working in this industry and has a passion for helping her patients become the best form of themselves. She takes pride in treating her patients with kindness, inclusivity, and respect.
Ciara Richter
Esthetician
Ciara is a skincare enthusiast and has a love for all things beauty related. Her passion for the skincare industry started at a young age and hasn’t stopped growing since! Her goal is for her clients to leave her room feeling confident and beautiful from within. Outside the world of esthetics, you will find Ciara exploring downtown Columbus with friends or eating at one of the great restaurants in our city. She is a self-proclaimed social butterfly, so she welcomes you to ask her questions or just to stop in to say hi.
Lindsey Roessler
Patient Coordinator
Lindsey graduated from Pickerington Central in 2011 and continued her education after high school at Ohio University. She spent several years managing her household and frequented The Facebar on her own skincare journey. It was here she discovered a special interest in the Aesthetic world and ended up joining us. Lindsey looks forward to seeing all the wonderful patients walk through our doors and seeing the transformation as they leave. She is here to answer all questions and to make every patients experience a great one.
Emily Smith, NP-C
Migraine Injector
Emily Smith is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over ten years of health care experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and returned to Columbus for a critical care nursing fellowship at OhioHealth. After years of bedside nursing in the intensive care unit she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati.
Emily has been a practicing nurse practitioner the last eight years in the hospital setting with surgical patients along with outpatient management of ear, nose and throat (ENT) patients. She has specialized experience managing acute and chronic sinusitis in conjunction with inpatient and outpatient migraine management. Emily knows firsthand that a migraine is not just a headache and looks forward to working with our migraine patients improve their symptoms and quality of life!
Katherine Mathes, NP
Migraine Injector
Katherine is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University. Her career in health care began in 2009 with a background in Emergency Medicine, specializing in care of oncology patients, and Cardiology.
While working in the Emergency Department she saw firsthand how debilitating a migraine could be for a person and the unfortunate stigma that sometimes came along with it. She is excited to be a part of this first-class medical team and help people with their overall well being!
